Short answer: Yes, we do.

Long answer: What we will buy is dependent on what you have, the condition of the piece(s) and whether or not it is something we would like to add to our inventory. Once it is determined that we are interested in your silver, there are two ways that you can sell it to us - we will determine which option we can offer you.

Option A) Direct Sale
In some cases, if your piece is a perfect fit for our inventory needs, we may choose to purchase your silver directly. We would still need you to mail it to us so that we can assess its value and make you an offer. If you decide not to sell it to us we will ship it back to you at no charge.

Option B) Consignment
Upon approval, a one time $25.00 setup fee (this charge pays for cleaning and listing your item on our website) will be sent to us along with your piece(s). If it is agreed that your item is suitable for sale, we will then assess the value, write-up a description, take photographs and add the piece to our online product catalog. If we decide not to add your item to our website, the $25.00 fee will be returned and your item(s) will be sent back to you COD (shipping charges to be collected at time of delivery). When and if the item sells, you will receive a commission from the sale. The commission will be determined by several factors and will be agreed upon prior to engagement of the sale - all consignment terms will be outlined in a Consignment Contract. At any time, if you wish for your item to be returned prior to its sale, or if your item does not sell within a reasonable length of time (to be determined in advance), we will ship it back to you with the shipping charges to be billed to you.

The first step to either of these options is to tell us about your piece(s). We will review your information and determine whether we would like to proceed to the next steps. Please allow us one to five business days to process your request. You may email your inquiries to mary@sterlingshop.com or call toll-free 1-866-5-TEAPOT (8am-8pm PST).

*Nothing is to be sent without prior approval. The value of an item cannot be assessed without prior inspection.
